Dr Raymond Kuan Chee Hao

Technical Director of Neogenix Food Science

Dr. Raymond Kuan Chee Hao received his Bachelor of Food Science and Technology in 2011, Master of Food Safety in 2014, and PhD in Food Safety in 2017 from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His previous works focused on the microbiological food safety, quantitative microbiological risk assessment, and food product development. In 2012 and 2013, Dr. Kuan and his team won a first prize in Developing Solution for Developing Countries (DSDC) Competition organized by Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in Las Vegas and Chicago, respectively. He has in-depth experience in food product development as well as food safety and quality management.

Dr. Kuan has four-year experience as lecturer in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Taylor’s University, and UCSI University. He has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications including high impact journals and always invited as speaker in international workshops and conferences. In 2020, Dr. Kuan is the co-opted member of the council for Malaysian Institute of Food Technology (MIFT). Now, he joined Neogenix Food Science Sdn. Bhd. as Technical Director.
